PiYO®

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—five minutes or more per pose is typical.  Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues (which we are calling the yang tissues). Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.  All experience levels are welcome.

Buti, in Indian Marathi, means "the cure to something hidden or kept secret." This practice is a high-intensity fusion of yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics. Classes combine cardio, strength training and flexibility in one seamless format. Buti creates a strong, empowered group that resembles a tribe. Students (aka Butisattvas) stay committed to the practice and are very supportive of one another. Join our 309 Buti tribe and thrive!

(Formerly, Yoga/Pilates Fusion) This class provides the student with Pilates mat exercises that will focus on strengthening and conditioning the core muscles and getting sufficiently warmed up and centered. Students will also experience a flowing yoga series which will encourage gentle yet deep stretching and control. Using Yoga and Pilates principles, and inward focus, will help each individual get the most out of this class.  Some yoga or pilates experience recommended, but not required.

PiYo class combines Yoga Poses with Pilates mat exercises to build your core strength while enhancing agility and balance. PiYo is a faster paced class than Gentle Yoga and provides a challenging workout similar to Vinyasa yoga.  All levels are welcome, some yoga or aerobics experience is recommended, but not required.
